Main disadvantages: I really didn't appreciate the attitude of the man at the reception when
we had to check out on Sunday after 12am. He told me that I had to pay
about 160 euros because of fone calls that I made etc. I didn't have the
money right there with me and I told him that I will go to the 28th
floor ( where my niece who got married the night before was staying) to
get the money and i'll bring it to him. My daughters could stay there
and wait for me. He was unreasonable,wouldn't let me go easily.my 9
years old daughter got a fright and handed me 20 euros thinking that
will make things better... That made me so sad.I Finally went up to 28th
floor and brought him the money.. There was no need for him to stress us
out! I wasn't gonna run away and leave my daughters there!..............
But. God bless the man at the reception when we checked in on thursday
the 20th of oct.He was a warm,respectful aand kind man to us. I
Main advantages: I liked almost everything about Thon Hotel. The man at the reception was
so kind and very proffesional. He made us feel at home right away and
the rest of our stay was great untill we the check out time ( I will
explain below)

Main disadvantages: Although I am a regular customer and I booked the room at least two
months in advanced, I was given a room for elderly/invalid which I didn'
t ask for and I didn't like.
Main advantages: Very convinient location. I use this hotel quite often because of that.
Is always clean, has smoking rooms which I consider as a competitive
advantage.

Main disadvantages: The room seems to have been recently refurbished with wood-style floors.
Very esthetic, but whoever was in the room above mine walked around for
a long time with high-heels which was very annoying. Also, the maids
cleaning the rooms are loud in the hallways and slam the doors from 8 am
- good for waking up, but... And as always, the soap is really not up to
the standards of the hotel - it smells very bad (bring your own).
Main advantages: Good location. New, comfortable room. Good mattress.

Main disadvantages: The absence of free internet in the room, which for a business oriented
hotel should be an absolute must. The delayed response on requesting for
some missing toiletries or room misfunctions (eg absence of electricity
in the room).
Main advantages: Reasonable size of room, soothing decoration, coffee-tea making
facilities in the room, close to train station and very close to my
business meeting place.

Main disadvantages: We reserved a room with two single beds, but got a room with one double
bed. But that wasn't such a problem.
Main advantages: Very luxury hotel, close to Botanique where we had a concert. Great
facilities. Clean. Huge hotel (not so much a cosy family hotel, but more
practical for business).

Main disadvantages: I bought an internet connection that never worked - I was reimbursed,
but I'd rather have the connection than the money back. I did not like
the fact that the hotel fell back on the provider, the client has no
contract with the internet provider. At one stage I was asked to call
the provider direct to sort out the problem, which I of course did not
do!! The rest of my stay was pleasant.

Main disadvantages: No heating and duvets are very small, so we asked for blankets but they
brought us sheets and when we tried to call back, no one was answering
the room service phone.
Main advantages: The room is nice and clean. Location is very convenient.

Main disadvantages: The fact that the breakfast costs 24 eur I found outrageous. However,
next to the hotel there is a quite nice "brasserie" and a small
supermarket. The lights were off in one floor during several hours due
to not really understandable reasons. Despite that I had a booking
confirmation at this hotel since June, I discovered upon arrival that I
was booked to another hotel Thon totally on the other side of the city.
The staff at reception were nice and re-booked it though. I also found
the city tax fairly expensive (6.4 EUR/night).
Main advantages: The location is convenient, can join the City Center by foot, also with
metro station just in front of the hotel makes it easy access. The fact
that the berakfast cost 24 eur I founds outrageous. However , nextto the
hotel there is a qy quite nice bar and asmall supermarket.
