| Main disadvantages: It's rather a small thing, but in winter lighting in the room is not sufficient and it can be quite depressive. However I visited this hotel many times in the summer time and then it didn't bother me at all. |

| Main advantages: Fantastic location in centre of Brussels. Hotel is an old cloister, very
well renovated wtih all mod cons. Rooms spacious, clean etc. No problems
with sound/noise. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended. |

| Main disadvantages: I dont like the particularly the music that you can here trough out of
the most of the corridor in the hotel and even in the room when the tv
is off! But than on the end this is only a question of taste! |
| Main advantages: It was very short but sweet visit in Brussel, staying in The Dominican
was amazing the deluxe comfortable room with great design,the huge soft
bed, really clean bathroom and super nice employees! |

| Main disadvantages: The cleaning staff could have been a bit more attentive to detail. This
is not to say that the room wasn't clean. Still above average in terms
of cleanliness but if I had to make an improvement to the hotel this is
the only thing I would be able to come up with. |
| Main advantages: The design of the hotel is quite stunning, the rooms are very
comfortable and very attractive visually. The location is convenient.
Free internet is nice and the business center has very high quality
computers (again no charge). Its very nice to stay in a hotel where so
much attention has been paid to the aesthetics. |

| Main advantages: Excellent service, everybody was so nice and helpful, and the hotel is
very modern and beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.
Its in the heart of Brussel city, neer Grand Place,the cenral
station,catadrals shopping and eating. |

| Main disadvantages: Reception were unable to fulfill our request for additional coffee due to the inability of the clerk to leave the front desk (this was the reason given when we phoned up after half an hour waiting for the coffee); additional staff would have solved this (or alternatively, letting us know up front that is was going to be the case and to come and collect the coffee from the front desk, which we were willing to do). |

| Main advantages: The design and decor of the hotel is excellent and very much to our taste. The hotel staff were very pleasant and polite. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30am with the view of dropping our bags off in their luggage room. Much to our surprise, they offered us check-in. This was a bonus and gave us a very happy start to our visit to Brussels.

| Main disadvantages: Nespresso machine makes undrinkable coffee! Why not have some real
ground coffee and a cafetiere, it would make such a difference. Also
would have liked proper tea bags and herb tea bags. As there is a
fridge, would be nice to have small jug of fresh milk, again it is small
details that make all the difference. Fitness centre is nice, sauna a
bit small, and floor slippery could do with some wooden decking or
similar to prevent accidents. No water in the water cooler over 2 days. |

which looks new, very clean, very relaxed but efficient staff.
Didn't have opportunity to use bar or restaurant, but both look very
glam and appealing. |

| Main disadvantages: We didn't get the same room rate on the additional day we stayed (due to the Belgium rail/bus strike). Consequently, we had to pay a higher rate for the day on top of the amount we were paying for a room in Bruges that we couldn't get, to due to the strike. |

| Main disadvantages: The hotel had a big event during our stay, which was held in the foyer and public areas of the hotel. We therefore could not use the bar and restaurant and were made to feel like an intruder. The noise was unbearable until fairly late, and we insisted on being moved to another room for the night.There was a noticable shortage of staff over the weekend. |

| Main disadvantages: The location! The Dominican promotes itself as an oasis in Brussels, and it's not wrong. The area is dirty, run-down, depressing, boring and a bit scary if you're walking around by yourself. Very mediocre shopping nearby, with only the main square to visit. A shame really, because this hotel deserves to be in a better location, we left Brussels very disappointed. |
| Main advantages: Very cool hotel, great design features and layout, the lobby area, dining areas, bar and outdoor dining areas were simply superb. Free business centre appreciated. Fantastic food and coffee from the bar, albeit a bit pricey. Rooms are exceptional with everything you could possibly want. Great size, ours had a good view over the courtyard area. Outstanding bathrooms with excellent complimentary toiletries. Digital safe was good. |

| Main disadvantages: The rooms are to dark and the maid service is not up to par. They never gave us soap, wash cloths and the room never seemed clean. |
| Main advantages: I liked the location and the staff. The decor in the lobby area is hip and reminded me of New York City hotels that we often visit. Beds are great and so is the shower. |
