Main advantages: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, not too
far from city centre and grand place - a nice ten minute walk. This
meant that it was quieter at the hotel. Although there were construction
works happening outside the hotel but these were only disruptive first
thing on Monday morning. The breakfast is a real pro point.

Fatih Istanbul, Turkey - Group tour
Main disadvantages: The hairdryer in our bathroom is placed to a high level of the wall,
which can be hard to reach for short people.
Main advantages: It is in the city centre, close to the public transportation (metro and
tram), grand markt is within a walking distance in 10 minutes. Provided
breakfast service is good for the money. Rooms are non-smoking rooms and
they are in normal human comfort size (room and bathroom width, length).

Main disadvantages: There is nothing I could say of that I really did not like.
Main advantages: - I most liked the friendly employes, very friendly.
- The size and equipment of the room. It is my second stay in this hotel and I always had nice room with quite a lot of space. So I cannot share some of the comments here saying that rooms were small, or was I just lucky 2 times already ?
- The situation of the hotel. In less then 10 minutes walk your next to the parc royal, and the other side in 5 minutes walk you are at Botanique. Metro connections are excellent.
- Breakfast is nice with different dishes.

Maria Newmarket on Fergus, Ireland - Rest with friends
Main advantages: We really enjoyed our stay in the Best Western. The hotel staff were
excellent and couldnt do enough for us. The breakfast was lovely and
there was plenty choice. The rooms were quiet, clean and bright and the
location was very good, only about 10min walk from central station.
Overall a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend it and will stay
again if ever in Brussels.

Main disadvantages: The wi-fi connection in the room may be free, but it's also
painfully slow. The entrance door should do a better job at blocking
noise from the hall.
Main advantages: Unpretentious, cosy, comfortable (the best bed I've slept in for a long
time). No traffic noise in my room, even though the hotel is on a busy
street with trams.

Main disadvantages: Wifi signal is very weak, but this is typical for all hotels. Good
breakfast but not on the 4 star hotel level. Finally perfectly working
shower head!
Main advantages: Hotel has its own parking garage. Free wifi is excellent service for
business people

Main disadvantages: Breakfast was problematic. Too crowded and always something missing,
plates, glasses etc. We had to wait to find a seat. Also we called twice
room service and no one was there, moreover they did not have what was
on the menu.
Main advantages: Although we booked a deluxe double they gave us a suite. The room was
very nice and spacious.

Canan Istanbul, Turkey - Group tour
Main disadvantages: Hotel lobby and diningroom and rooms are very small. When I opened my two suitcases in my room there was hardly any room left to walk. I had to jump over my bags. The bed was too soft for me but I didn't have any problems sleeping. Not in the best place in town. Nothing to see outside. Lots of graffiti on the surrounding buildings and noone walking on the streets. Only a couple of places to eat outside and not very appetizing. I suggest you eat and walk around in the market area and just use the hotel to crash. I never had any problems on the streets or in the metro station but I always came to the hotel before the sunset, which is quite late anyway -10:30pm-. I got a discount rate since I booked almost two months early so in spite of all these, if I get a similar price, I would stay there again.
Main advantages: Very easy access. If you have large suitcases you might want to take the taxi to&from the airport (45 euros) instead of the train and metro hassle otherwise 5 minutes walk from the metro station Botanique and tram 92 and 94 stop right outside the door -Congres stop-. 2 tram stops away from the Magritte museum, you can even walk there in 15-20 minutes. Free Wi-fi connection in your room. Several more expensive hotels I stayed in -like the Mercure center Louise- had wi-fi only in their lobby which wasn't even air-conditioned and very stuffy-, so this definitely is a plus. No safe box in the room but was freely available at the reception. Good breakfast with a selection of breads, croissants, meat, cheese, fruits, eggs and ham and fruit juice (not freshly squeezed but ok). Hotel staff very very friendly and helpful.
