Main advantages: We stayed in Vienna for 3 nights, had a bigger room than Standard one
with bautiful view over the Vienna. Make sure you will have a windows on
a main street. The room was very cosy, big enough, nice and clean
bathroom, there is nothing I would complain about. Staff at the
reception was very helpful. And the location of the hotel is just right!
Right in the centre of everything.... Opera is just across the road, 2
minutes walking! I booked Grand hotel first but then a changed my mind
and I was really pleased! Would definitely recommend!

Main disadvantages: - The fact that the strings of the mattress were quite loud. Mattresses
need changing
- the fact that the water from the shower flooded on the bathroom floor - however, this is not something that a couple of towels can't fix. It may be preferable for the hotel, however, to close the shower space with a glass door.
Main advantages: - Decoration was lovely throughout the hotel (from reception to
the rooms)

Main disadvantages: The dim lighting in the room and the restaurant. The bath amnities did not include cotton buds. My wish for high floor and park view were not respected.
Main advantages: Room size, bed, cleanliness, bathroom, all facilities and food in restaurant.

Main disadvantages: The hallways in the newer wing (on the 7th floor) could use a bit of touching up, as they do not blend with the otherwise classy feel of the hotel. Layout of the hotel was also a bit confusing, and better signage as well as more detailed driving directions on the website would be beneficial for those arriving by car- finding the parking garage turned out to be quite an ordeal.
Main advantages: The hotel has an excellent location on the Ring, within minutes' walk of the Hofburg and pedestrian areas. Reception staff and concierge were very professional and friendly, making for a very pleasant and unusually quick check-in and check-out experience. Rooms are bright and well equipped, those with a private terrace are great for summer evenings. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch, as is the free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Main disadvantages: The only downside to the entire experience was the shower. There was an
extremely large gap between the floor tiles and the base of the glass
shower door, which allowed a lot of the water to flow into the main
bathroom area, causing half of it to flood.
Main advantages: The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The rooms were well set
up and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the efficient
utilization of space. In addition, the all-body massage shower and
complimentary mini-bar were great surprises. The buffet breakfast
selection was as diverse as it was delicious. I would definitely stay
there again.

Main advantages: The location is excellent and the hotel is fully functional... The
breakfast is excellent but try to get an outward facing room to give it
justice. The pool is nice although not enormous.

crisp. The location, right at the State Opera House and many other
center city venues is perfect for a visit to Vienna.

Petra Zagreb, Croatia - Rest with children
Main disadvantages: At arrival we were told that we were already pre-charged by booking.com and cannot have the bill which we needed for a company. This was strange since in past experiences, booking.com was only for booking and I would be charged directly on the spot. After talking to a manager, receptionist told us that he could give us the bill afterall. Wellness did not work (besides fitness) which was one of the main reasons for booking Le Meridien. Minibar was complimentar but contained only: 2 waters, 2 colas and 1 beer?!!!! I would rather pay than have such a poor choice! I realice you can call room service and order, but I personaly do not like that and I find it disturbing. Also, maid managed to come in in my room twice in the same morning, once I was half naked - I hoped 5 star hotel had a sistem of checking if anyone is still in the room or at least knocking... And at the end, breakfast was 29 EUR, and there is only public garage which you have to pay.
Main advantages: Rooms were comfortable, large and clean, bathroom was spacious with both shower and a bathtub which was great, location is excelent, the staf was pretty helpful. Breakfast, although very expensive, was excelent!

Main disadvantages: I have stayed in this hotel many times. This time I saw scratched and not properly cleaned floor of the room, missing shower caps and sewing kits, lack of prompt replenishment of tea and coffee in the room...

Main disadvantages: The breakfast was nice but extremely expensive. The deluxe room's minibar was free; however it had very poor content. The shampoos/gel douche and similar offerings were only replaced upon request whereas they shall be automatically renewed in a luxury hotel.
Main advantages: The decoration of the room was very appealing. The receptionist lady had a very constructive approach concerning a problem on the payment.

Main disadvantages: I did not like the bed, very small. Me and my wife had problems to sleep. I did not like the bathroom, too. If you decide to take a shower, you will turn the bathromm in a pool. But is a good hotel.

Main disadvantages: Bathroom is so uncomfortable to use. No bidet, no bathtub, no shower curtain (water just go out of shower cabin all over the floor), jet shower type is difficult to adjust (cord shower preffered), bathroom door is just 2 steps from the bed, useless exces furniture in the room
Main advantages: Location, clenliness, staff (concierge team have great knowledge of city's attractions)

Main disadvantages: When we came on the room there was a not friendly smell, we were first put into a room for handicaped people where we had to ask to change, the room was not in a good state and was very small, totally different then other rooms we get and strange for being a good Starwood customer with many points

Main disadvantages: the fact tha you do not have elevators that arrive to your floor; but you need to take a stairs to reach your floor. For a 5 star hotel, you'd think you'd have the comfort of a 5 star hotel and this was not.

Main disadvantages: Breakfast was quite slim for the price range, poor offer of fresh vegetables, meet and desserts; also a complementary mini-bar fails its purpose since it contained only beverages.
Main advantages: Interior decoration and furnishings both of both common areas and the rooms leave a pleasant impression, look stylish but not imposing, the bar is quite beautiful.

Main advantages: Hospitality, and closeness to he centre of Vienna, near all the touristic areas and excellent transportation, however the price did not include the breakfast which is quite expensive even for Vienna at 29 Euros per person.

Main disadvantages: Bathroom separated by a glass door of the room - is not suitable because it has no sound isolation. Small clothes closet. Many smokers in public areas of hotel.
Main advantages: Excellent location. Near the main tourist center. Modern and comfortable. Free Internet.
