Main disadvantages: The location was a little bit too far away from the city and the main train station than it looked on the map, and there were no restaurants or shops right next to the hotel (except for a gas station). Also, we thought there was a swimming pool and had packed our swimming things just for that, but were very dissapointed not to find one. We didn't ask about it though, so maybe there was one .... but I highly doubt it.

Main advantages: The rooms were very comfortable and well set up. The staff was very helpful and there was always someone there.

Main disadvantages: Perfect for a few days, probably not suitable for a long stay. Some noise apparent when others are coming and going and moving around in their adjacent rooms, but not too excessive.

Main advantages: Very close (easily walkable) to Hauptbahnhof, so handy for arrivals / departures. Good, free wifi and decent free breakfast. The room and shower were small, but warm and clean. Easy walk into town so no need to pay more for a hotel in the Aldstadt as Salzburg is small enough to do on foot from the Lasserhof. Of the 3 receptionists I met, all were efficient and only one needed a little time at the charm school, the other two were politeness itself.

Main advantages: Good choice of hotel value for money - a little out of the old town but within easy walking distance. Quiet - windows triple glazed. Warm, clean, comfortable and good choice of buffet breakfast. Free WiFi and computer. Would recommend.

Main advantages: the staff were friendly, the rooms were a good size, spacious and comfortable. easy access to the town and the station. although central it was quiet and relaxed.

Main advantages: It would be desirable that towels changed more often. In hotel four stars should be bathing accessories: shampoo, tooth-brushes. And for a breakfast there should be fresh fruit.

Main advantages: the helpfullness, friendliness and general attitude of the staff - nothing was ever too much trouble, the breakfast was very good and served for a good long time in the mornings.
